Cannot find user defined materials

Dear all,

I recently upgraded my WUFI licence from 2D-3 to 2D-4.
When I create a new material in the user defined database, it is possible to find it from the software 2D-3 but not in the 2D-4 version.
Do you know how to proceed to make the transaction?

Is WUFIDBEditor need to be upgraded too ?

Hi Ines,

WUFI 2D 4 contains a new database. User-defined materials are only transferred once (during installation of 2D 4). After that, if you create a new material in one of the programs, it will not appear in the other.

As workaround you can transfer materials manually using import/export function. For that edit the needed material. There is a import / export-button in the material data window of both programs. The file format is xml. Please note: WUFI allows only to export a material, if it is unlocked.
