Using Old KLI files doesn't work for California

Post by Ned Lyon »

There is still a minor problem for some locations when using KLI files from the old weather generator with WUFI 4.0. Whenever the location longitude for a KLI is less than -99.99, the longitude and the next element on the second line of the file (I think it is elevation) do not have white space between them. This causes WUFI 4.0 to error when reading the file (because it looks for white space, not absolute character position). A work-around is simply to open the offending KLI with notepad, scroll to the longitude on the second line (about 164 characters from the start of the line) and insert a space.
