WUFI Pro 6.5 - Bugs?
Hello, I just upgraded to v6.5 of WUFI Pro. I've modeled 6-7 assemblies so far, mostly using default materials and climate data sets. In my opinion, the results are considerably more untrustworthy than version 6.4. I'm running into plausibility issues and I often have to discard entire models. This ...

Material Library
Hello,
I'm in the process of transferring my WUFI Pro 6.4 from my old computer to the new one.
I have many user-defined materials I want to transfer to the new computer, but I don't see a way to export my personal database to a file, is this possible?
Thank you!
Enrico

WUFI Pro Re-Install
Hello, I was using WUFI Pro v6.2 this past year, until my 1-year license expired a few days ago. I'm about to renew my license and noticed WUFI Pro v6.4 is now available. I was wondering about the best way to carry my libraries (materials, climate data) to the new version. If I uninstall v6.2, can I...

WUFI Pro - Climate Window Bug?
Hello, I've been using WUFI Pro 6 for a couple of years. In the past couple of weeks I've been having issues with the map view to select the external climate (see screenshot). As the map is being loaded (very slowly, layer by layer), WUFI runs into a loop and never stop reloading the map. As a resul...

Design Internal Conditions in Specific Rooms
Hello, I've been using WUFI Pro 6 with the ASHRAE 160 internal climate conditions, which allow to assess hourly internal T and RH depending on building use, size, occupancy and ventilation rate. WUFI uses ASHRAE 160 "intermediate method" (see 4.3.2 paragraph in the standard), which is a gr...

Re: Custom Indoor Climate
Can anyone look into this, please?
I'm running WUFI on a virtual PC and Excel on my native Mac OS.
Would this excel file work on OpenOffice?
Thank you,
Enrico

Re: Custom Indoor Climate
Hello Christian, Thank you for your reply. I found two Excel files in the folder you told - one for 2007 and newer Excel version, and one for older ones. Unfortunately, neither seems to be working for me. I'm running Excel 15.27 for Mac and I can only open the two Excel files as read-only. I can ope...

Custom Indoor Climate
Hello,
For a building monitoring project, I'd need to be able to import a custom indoor climate as hourly values of T and RH.
I haven't seen a way to set this up in WUFI Pro: is it possible to do it?
Thank you,
Enrico

Re: Custom emissivity values for reflective membranes
Hello Christian, Thank you for the additional info. I've been using ISO 6946 (Annex A) to calculate the surface resistance for low emissivity surfaces, which is valid for steady-state conditions. However, in a room assembly dynamic conditions the temperature will vary on a short-term basis (e.g. one...

Materials Database - WUFI Pro vs WUFI Passive
Hello,
I've been using WUFI Pro 6.1 and I've never used WUFI Passive.
I was wondering if the two softwares rely on the same materials database.
Thank you,
Enrico
