Hi, I'm attempting to model a smart vapor retarder (specifically the Intello Plus manufactured by 475 High Performance Building Supply). The product specification sheet states that the vapor retarder has a vapor variability of < 0.13 perm during dry winter conditions, and > 13.2 perm during summer c...

Re: HVAC Schedule in WUFI
Hi Christian,
Thank you for the reply. Yes, I was making a mistake and not running the interior climate file on the proper tab. It appears to be working as expected now with your suggestion.
Thank you again.
Best,
Kenner

WUFI 6.2 Crashing Unexpectedly and now will no longer open at all
Hi, I am running Windows 10 on a Dell Precision 5510 and have been running WUFI 6.2 with only a few crashing incidents. Occasionally the program would crash unexpectedly when loading a weather file .epw from a local directory. How WUFI 6.2 will not open at all. The splash page appears for a brief fe...

Re: HVAC Schedule in WUFI
Hi Manfred, Yes, I have an educational license but I believe I have full functionality of the Pro version? I was able to generate the interior conditions I need (temperature & relative humidity) using an Energyplus model. I then used the "createclimefile.xls" tool and exported a .WAC f...

HVAC Schedule in WUFI
Hi, I'm attempting to simulate an exterior wall assembly for a school building. Because the school does not operate its HVAC systems during the summer months (01 June to 01 September), I am wondering if I can run a 3 year to 10 year simulation showing no space conditioning for these months. Is it po...
