Peculiar graph output in 1D model using .KLI climate data with 10 minute time steps
I have a set of internal and external temperature and relative humidity values at 10 minute intervals from a hygrothermal (laboratory) test. I am trying to set up a WUFI 1D project to model this test. The relative humidity and temperature graphs are strange: 2021-06-10_strange_rh_t_wufi_graph.png I ...

Re: Is it possible to zoom in Wufi graph 2D to select area for graphing
The irony, just after posting the question discovered the answer by accident. You need to hold down the shift key, left click and drag the mouse to zoom into the graph. Leaving the question in case others may have the same issue. And also to highlight the slight trickiness of working in Wufigraph co...

Is it possible to zoom in Wufi graph 2D to select area for graphing
Is it possible to zoom into the Wufi graph image of an assembly in order to select cell(s) for graphing? After generating a model I try to select a cell for an intricate model using Output > WufiGraph > New page > Relatvive humidity > select area (by mouse left click). I want to zoom into the red re...

Re: Perforated steel sheet
Hi Anna, In the North American Database there is a material called 'Metal perforated' which may be of use. Unfortunately the material information section is silent about the proportion of metal that is perforated. An on line search for the source reference: "ORNL/CON-380" reveals nothing. ...

Interstitial condensation within aluminium faced PIR insulation in external wall
I’m hoping you can help with interpretation of moisture transport in an external wall with aluminium faced PIR insulation wufi-animation.png Modelling the equivalent wall using the Glaser method (ISO 13788) results in accumulating condensation between the PIR core and outer aluminium foil facing lay...

Re: XML material data queries: Drying factor, thermal conductivity and water content
Hi Thomas, Many thanks for your detailed and clear answers. With regards to the least important point: 'XML function names for ids 3 and id 4.' I am using WUFI Pro 6.3. I've included an xml extract for: 'fired clay brick used for cellars ' to illustrate the duplicate use of the name "Thermal Co...

XML material data queries: Drying factor, thermal conductivity and water content
I wonder if you could explain some of the material data properties which are included in the xml material files. It would be helpful to know how to manage these properties when creating user defined materials. Scalar properties 1) Drying factor [id 11]: what is this and how is it used in the wufi ca...
