Re: WUFI Passive - SketchUp Plugin - Sluggish
When selecting a lot of planes at once this is bound to happen. If I had to guess the plugin is looping through these faces to create the base information for each face ... so the more faces the longer it takes. It is easy to replicate, creating a 50ft circle, then lofting it 10ft and selecting the ...

Re: Graphic Anomoly
Hey Hans, being a developer I can tell you it would likely help the WUFI guys to have more details ... I have not experienced this myself yet. So questions I would have 1) what is your graphics card and driver 2) What OS are you using 3) How did you create the model, was it done 100% in wufi or did ...

Re: Case not matching actual site data
9. Same as case 7 but R60's turned up to R96 and the Climate data moderated to represent temperatures expected in the thermal buffer zone ( ~31 kBtu / sqft yr ... blower door set to 0.05 as well ... heating load projected at ~6k which is off by about 1k from reality) 10. Two zones, TBZ not simulated...

Re: Case not matching actual site data
Added a couple more cases for extremes ... don't laugh ;) 6. Same as Case 3, replaces all Air gaps with 1:1 thickness polyisocyanurate board ... result, (73kBtu/sqft yr) 7. Same as Case 3, replaces all assemblies with R60 foam board ... result, (72 kBtu / sqft yr) 8. Same as Case 7 but changed the a...

Case not matching actual site data
I have energy use and first hand accounts of temperatures from an owner of a classic 1980's double envelope home I am attempting to model in WUFI Passive. The assemblies are typical of the 80's with the north / south walls being 2x4 + bat fiberglass insulation and a 1ft minimal air gap, up to 9ft in...

Re: Modeling a simple basement?
I don't believe you draw the unheated basement but rather set it up in the foundation tab https://youtu.be/0oLvRNKt-Hs

Re: What is included for climate data?
For those following, the climate data found on the climate tab doesn't seem to be included with WUFI Passive. I was able to import data into the climate database and the pins show up as yellow. This is significant as the training videos show a similar pin color for locations with climate data (but l...

What is included for climate data?
I have installed 3.2.0.1 and selected a location from the map database and expected to see all fields filled out, including those on the climate tab but only a couple fields on the Localization tab are filled in. (5 parameters, all ground info, no space conditioning data) What is supposed to be incl...
