Re: BIPV ventilated facade

Hi, Thanks for your answer! I will start building the model and come probably back with more doubts/questions afterwards. Luckily, this is a real project and we have some measurement data of T and RH that we can use to compare simulation results and real data. Unfortunately, the air velocity in the ...

BIPV ventilated facade

Hi, I was wondering what is the best way to modelling a ventilated facade with integrated PV panels in WUFI (1D and/or 2D). What are the most important parameters to be careful about? I only found a discussion topic about this: https://www.wufi-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=2790#p2790 which is from some...

Export outdoor and indoor climate

Hi,

I was wondering if there is any way to export outdoor and indoor climate files as they are in ascii or txt format.

Thanks for your reply!

Re: Create new materials_locked properties

Thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention that I unlocked the properties as you suggests, but the only property that still remains locked is the water vapour diffusion resistance. Could it be something related to the 6.5 version? Because a colleague of mine working on a previous WUFI version is act...

Create new materials_locked properties

Hi,

I am using WUFI PRO 6.5 and I am trying to create a new material based on an existing one. The problem is that I cannot change the value for water vapour diffusion resistance, which looks like a locked value.

What could the problem be?

Re: Creating climate file

Hi again, Thanks for your reply! I did not find so detailed information about the difference between .WAC and .KLI elsewhere. Regarding the climate file, I was also wondering if it is necessary to create a file with least 1 year data, or if it is possible to create climate file with shorter periods,...

Re: Creating climate file

Hi again,

Thanks for your reply!
So if WUFI automatically adjusts the calculational time step width for the weather file, will I have the same time steps for my results?

Regarding the weather file format, which are the most important parameters that *.KLI format is not taking into account?

Regards

Creating climate file

Hi, I need to create a climate file from some real data coming from a weather station. I found the excel file ''CreateClimateFile'' in the WUFI folder and I read some guidelines, but I am wondering about something. The data I got are sub-hourly, but the time interval is not always constant, sometime...

Re: Temperature distribution in a facade section

Hi Thomas, Thanks a lot for the explanation. For the same simulation I was wondering what is the best way to model the facade, which has prefabricated concrete frames hung on the building's supporting structures, and they are separated by an air layer. Would it be correct to set the indoor climate e...

Temperature distribution in a facade section

Hi! We will analyze in WUFI PRO 6 the temperature distribution in a façade that consists of prefabricated concrete frames hung on the building's supporting structures and cladded with granite stone on the outside. We will analyze the façade in the heating phase and cooling phase and find out the &qu...
