Explicit radiation balance - solid wall IWI
Hi there. I'm modelling a sandstone external wall with woodfibre internal wall insulation in a wet and windy part of the world (Glasgow). I understood from the WUFI training that explicit radiation balance is only normally used for roofs, not walls, but out of curiosity I turned it on for the walls ...

Sample data for sandstone using Karsten Tube tests
Hi all, I've read the Historic Environment Scotland Technical Paper 15 in which it details how to do the Karsten Tube Test. My question is what would you then do with that data in order to be able to run a WUFI calc. The Karsten tube test looks to give you enough data to calculate the A value, but n...

Re: air layer and retrofits
I'm doing a similar calculation at the moment. Could someone point me at the original discussion on splitting the cavity into different layers, I've seen it referred to in several places but can't find it.

WUFI graph - plotting results from different cases on the same chart
Hi there. I am a new WUFI user. I'm looking at different retrofit options for an existing building. I would like to plot the results from different cases (for example different insulation types) for a particular layer of the wall, all on the same graph. So for example in a cavity wall I want to plot...
