WUFIMOTION Zooming
I would like to take a closer look at part of my WUFI 2D model in WUFIMOTION. When I zoom in, the area I want to look at goes off screen. Is there a way to translate the graph so I can zoom and still see the area of interest?

IP SI Units Conversion Problem
Version 6.3.2 noted some fixing of unit conversions. There is still a problem. If I set WUFI units to IP and then import from the library, I can have bad rounding errors that damage materials. If I import library materials in SI and then change to IP the results are OK. Try this with North America P...

Re: Materials inputs for WUFI mold index
About the implementation of ASHRAE 160 into the mold index, it is certainly faster than our previous method of setting monitors, exporting run data, and importing into a spreadsheet. However, two awkward issues remain: 1) the drop down list of materials has no reference as to their respective sensit...

WUFI 6.2 ASHRAE 160 Climate
WUFI 6.2 has a bug in the graph for ASHRAE 160 climate. The graph does not generate the results for conditions entered unless one toggles the AC only/AC with dehumidification. If you close and reopen the file or switch between cases, the graph data reverts to something other than the current selecti...

WUFI 6 Adaptive Convergence?
What did you do to adaptive convergence in WUFI 6? When selected, no options are revealed. When I open a WUFI 5 file that ran with no convergence errors, I get convergence errors in WUFI 6. One file I opened had 58 convergence errors. Using adaptive convergence in WUFI 6 reduced the errors to 57. Ot...

ASHRAE 160 IP Error
Another 6.02 fault for the fire. If you enter your own values into the ASHRAE 160 dialogue under IP units, the resulting temperature for the model run goes off scale.

Issue With EnergyPlus EPW Weather File?
I purchased an actual year weather file in EPW format. I have run WUFI 5.3 and WUFI 2d simulations using the file. The 2d simulations crash at the first rain event, and the 1d simulation runs, but becomes super saturated compared to a library file from a nearby location. I reviewed the rain data in ...

2D rain load clarification
The rain load on a surface is calculated in two locations. If the absorption is set to 0 there is no rain load no matter what the driving rain parameters are, However, if the absorption is 1 I seem to get the whole rain without the driving rain calculation. Can you confirm the relationship between t...

Manfred...I forgot we are in the same time zone, and Andre isn't keeping you busy enough if I immediately get your ear...sorry I missed summer camp... Just to clarify: 1. The Total Water content quick graph has no quantifiable meaning, except if it increases over time there is increasing moisture in...

Total Water Content and Radially Symmetrical Calculations
Total Water Content and Layer Water content in units of mass/area make sense for flat assemblies on the quick graphs. This data is is also provided when a Radially Symmetrical calculation is performed, but it is not clear what the results are because it is still labeled mass/area. Ideally this shoul...

WUFI 1D Results Error
I think I have come across a problem with the 1D results graph. I am simulating concrete in a metal deck. The bottom of the model is stepped to approximate the angle of the deck flute. The model runs OK and WUFI Graph displays the results of the simulation, even though the files are very large. The ...

Bug In WUFI Pro Rain Absorption
We recently identified a bug in WUFI Pro. If you model a wall with rain water absorption factor turned off and save the model, the next time you open the file the rain water absorption factor will be set to the default value of 0.7 and the drop down box will still say "no absorption". The ...

Meteonorm
I would be careful with Meteonorm. While evaluating it I compared a calculated Boston to a WUFI Boston file. Solar was good match, rain amount was reasonable, wind speed was good but direction was about 180 degrees off. Our northeasters became southwesters...may work for some of you....
