WUFI Pro Installation

I am trying to install WUFI Pro. I cannot get past the User Information Dialogue pop up. I enter my name and my license key, copied directly out of the email I received with the software but the Next button never becomes clickable. There is no organization, does anyone know how I get to the next ste...

Christian,

This new installation will work with my 8 week license copy, i.e. I will not loose the remaining time I have to play with and understand this software?

General Interpretation of Results

Thanks Thomas. I think you told me what I already knew but it was good to hear it from someone who has a better understanding of building physics. I myself have thought with regards to spalling of masonry one would have to know something of the compressive or tensile strength of that particular type...

I think I have the WUFI Bio with the package of items I received at the Advanced Seminar. I've used it but am not sure I can isolate each layer but I will check. Thanks.

Limiting Isopleths Lines

Is there anyway to get the limiting isopleths lines LIM B1 and LIM B II in any of the other monitoring position graphs? I only see them on the interior surface graph. It would be a good to have them on the interior side of the drywall, where there is paper, i.e. food for fungal growth.

General Interpretation of Results

I know that in general when we look at our WUFI results with respect to a particular assembly what we hope to see is a general trend of lowering moisture contents until it reaches a state of equilibrium. However I am also interested in determining what water contents in a given material would be des...

Air Layer Basics

I am a little confused about air layers so I hope someone can help me out. There are two types of air layers listed - One with no unique conditions and one "without additional moisture capacity". When should one choose one over the other? For example would I choose the simple 70mm (I'm ass...

Convergence errors & results reliability

What I need may seem basic, but I hope someone can help. At my first seminar I was saddled with an un-cooperative laptop and my second seminar dealt with different but equally interesting software and I did not want to slow class down with basics. The fact that I am an architect and not a physicist ...
