Weather data for US cities

Michael,
Where did you find the weather data that you used for the spreadsheet? I'm also trying to find data for cities that WUFI does not already have .wac files for.

Modeling Constant Temperature in Wall Cavity

I have wall system with 2 wythes of wood studs with an airspace in between. The studs are sheathed with gyp sheathing and stucco at the exterior and gypboard at the interior. Is there a way to model the wall so that the airspace between the studs is kept at a constant 67F and 55% RH? The airspace wi...

EPDM roof membrane

Is there a material in the WUFI 4.1 database that's equivalent to a 0.045 mil or 0.060 mil EPDM roof membrane (built-up roof)?

Hi Manfred,

If there's no condensation, how does the water content in the material go up? How can I find out the paramenters of what's bad for materials like the 95% for wood, etc.? And how long does the 95% have to be sustained to be a problem?
Thanks.

dew point and temperature graph

I ran WUFI for a wall section of brick, air layer, vapor retarder, gypsum sheathing, batt insulation, and interior sheathing. In the quick graphs, the temperature and dew point lines appear to be overlapping at several positions in the all of the layers. However, if I zoom in very closely, the lines...

Indoor Climate - ASHRAE 160P

At a WUFI class, we were informed that using ASHRAE 160P for the indoor climate is the most accurate option in WUFI 4.1. Could someone give a little crash course on all the variables that i can input in this screen? Such as the floating indor temp shift, set point for heating, moisture generation ra...
