Re: x-material, y-material?
Thank you, Veitner, avp081090, I got it. :) If i set mineral wool for x-deirection and EPS for y-direction, then the material would have mineral wool's property in x-direction and EPS' property in y-direction. Am I right? However, in practice, it is not possible to have mineral wool in x-direction a...

the durability of the material
Hello, I have a question about the materials properties. WUFI is ready to predict the mold growth in the construcion. Is that possible, that the WUFI can tell whether the construction or the material has already been destroyed ? For example, if there is a retrofitting project, the house has been 20 ...

Re: x-material, y-material?
Thank you, Veit,
But I am still a little bit confused. Do you mean, the y-material is not important, mostly the x-material is enough?

x-material, y-material?
Hello,
I just realise there are x-material and y-material for material assignment. Is that an advanced option for material assignmet? Or I just have to keep the two materials the same.
Thank you for helping.
Yang

isopleth of the mold growth prediction
Hello, I have made a simulation model for one year and five years to make a comparison. I have 2 questions: 1) I can see that, after 5years, the humidity is quite lower, lower than 80%. But there is still green points above the LIM curve, are these points the results for the first year simulation? O...

Re: May I convert the climate data myself?
Hello, Christian, thank you for help and I have made it. I have another questions about the surface climate settings: 1) The long wave emissivity is recommeded to set as 0, when do we need to change it? 2) Just like the first question, when do we need to change Sd value or vapor transfer coefficient...

Hello,
If I could get the full information of the local climate, can I convert it into the .wbc format that WUFI uses?
Thank you.

Re: does wufi have the climate data for china?
Hello, Christian,
thank you. Right now i am using a WUFI 2D 3.3, and I am using the .epw weather data for shanghai. Unfortunately, the rainfall data is not included. Do I need to refer to the local hourly rainfall data, and then edit the .epw document?
