Greetings
Is it possible to somehow change the wavelength of the "user defined sine curves" to be less than a year?
I want to have a sine curve with a wavelength of 24 hours.
Best Regards

Re: Cold Pipe
Okay så maybe i just need to model it as the rectangle shown in my picture without adding a radial diameter?veitner wrote:In this case I would suggest at top and bottom adiabatic and whatever you want left and right - so this special case would be also possible in WUFI1D

Re: Cold Pipe
Hi, for that you can use the calculation with radial geometry. Go to the computational parameters, enhanced. Scroll down the list with the control parameters. Here you will find the "Radial Diameter". This diameter is the distance from the left side of you construction to the rotation axi...
Cold Pipe
Greetings
It is possible to model condensation on a cold pipe wrapped in a insulating material? My biggest issue is the circular geometry - can this be made?
Best regards.

Re: calculation interrupted
But just to clarify one last thing: If it interrupts the calculations at 97 % saying that maxit is to small. Does it mean that 97 % of the time interval have converged?

Re: calculation interrupted
Calculation interrupted - maxit to small (ended at 97 %) I'm sorry but I do know knothing about this percentage. Where did you find that? I only know maxit_msg.png . Oh i can see my post could be misunderstood - its not that it displays "(ended at 97 %)" im talking about the large blue li...

Please see explanation in following post http://www.wufi-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=768&p=2100&hilit=maxit#p2100 Regards, Okay i have tried increasing my maxit and I have experienced the following: - Calculation interrupted - maxit to small (ended at 97 %) - Calculation interrupted ...

Air exchange source - how do you draw one?
Hello
I´ve been trying to draw air exchange source but i can´t figure out the system for which you draw..it doesn´t follow the coordinate system for which you did the geometry.
Best regards

Re: Problems with processing
Wow - never thought about such complicated geometries! I guess the problems are caused by the 1/1000 mm. Usually we limit our layers to 1mm. Would it be possible to redefine your construction to avoid fractions of mm? it is a crosssection of a window so it can be easily become complicated :) okay s...

Re: Problems with processing
Could you post your geometry (copy/paste the content of the geometry editor)? sure Heres my geometry code: /r{%Macro for rectangle. Parameter: width height left bottom newpath name moveto dup 0 exch rlineto exch 0 rlineto 0 exch neg rlineto closepath } def 0 0 0 setrgbcolor /mm{1 mul}def%Macro for ...

Re: Problems with processing
Hmm.. got the same problem again and can´t figure out how to solve this problem. I have gone through the geometry and everything seems to fit perfectly - so it has to do with the grid settings?

Re: weird spot with high moisture
In WUFI every material needs it's moisture storage function. In case there is none defined WUFI assigns it's internal moisture storage function. I meant artefact because the moisture storage of air is somewhat artificial. But indeed your air layer shows a somewhat increasing RH over time (I thought...

Heartwood and Sap wood
Hello
Is it possible to select heartwood or sapwood in the material database? I haven´t been able to find it myself.
I could imagine that this made a difference when there is ex. probably more resin in heartwood than sap wood.
Best regards

Re: weird spot with high moisture
I would have a look at the RH. It's probably an artefact because of it's moisture storage function. Regards I checked the RH in that spot and attacted the image. It clearly reaches 100 % so it looks like it might be condensated water. And by artefact of the moisture storage function you mean what? ...
