Re: no licence, no visualization... not cool !

Well, it's better than nothing but it just opens fid files. I don't do a film every time.
It's a pity you don't give us some free tool to read wufi1d.xml :)

no licence, no visualization... not cool !

Hi,

If we try to open a project with WUFI 5 without any licence, the software even doesn't permit either to see what we entered in it nor to see graphics.
Not allowing calculation ok but prohibit seeing what had been done, it is tough :/

A vapor retarder only on a part of a wall

Hi everybody, In some project, there's problem for vapor migration only on certain parts, for example when there is concrete in a timber frame wall. WUFI 2D can modelize that ? Is it possible to imagine a vapor retarder placed only at critical points ? What overlap width to prevent vapor to bypass t...

Re: De l'utilité d'un pare-vapeur sur un support béton

Thank you, Christian ! Waiting for your answer :), I noticed that concrete humidity was determinant : with 2,5 % initial moisture, retarder is a bad option, with 8 % (typical construction level given by your database) retarder or nothing are both bad options, a variable Sd value (intello) is needed....

Re: De l'utilité d'un pare-vapeur sur un support béton

OK, no help, I try in English :P I am astonished enough by the WUFI results for a concrete support for a timber frame construction (without vapour barrier film). Whereas a Glaser calculation announce a lot of condensation without the vapour barrier film, WUFI says exactly the opposite : the healthie...

Re: kg/m² criteria

Hi Christma... Christian ! http://www.christmas-corner.com/images/christmas-smileys/santa_wink.gif you are on the right way, but what you are doing is to access the water content as a mean value over the whole mineral wool. The standard 4108 is talking about the formation of dew water at the contact...

kg/m² criteria

Hi and hppy christmas to everybody, WUFI resumes criteria from DIN4108 which are about amount in moisture in kg/m². German standard DIN 4108-3 adds the following criteria : The amount of condensing moisture in roof or wall assemblies must not exceed a total of 1.0 kg/m². This is a more or less arbit...
