Good morning - I would like to isolate the sun driven moisture affect.
Under Surface Transfre Coeff, if I select the "no absorption/emission" setting for "short/long-wave radiation absorptivity", then run subsequent models with a range of "short/long-wave radiation absorptivity" settings, will the difference between the base model and others be solar moisture drive?
Thank you.

Re: Sun driven moisture
Hello James,
if you calculate without the absorption index, the solar radiation is switched off. So if you compare the results with and without absorption index, the difference is due to the different energy gains by solar radiation.
The emission switches the long wave effects on a surface. This has to be used in combination with the explicit radiation balance switched on.
