Installed WUFI 2D. Now can't open WUFI Pro

I've had WUFI Pro 5.3 for a few years now. I recently installed WUFI 2D, and now I am not able to open WUFI Pro. Could it be that some of the paths got moved with the WUFI 2D install? I used the recommended install locations for both programs (C:/Program files (x86)/WUFI). In WUFI 2D, I changed the Home Directory (Options/Settings) from My Documents to a project folder - could that have been the cause of this problem?

This is the error code I get when I try to open WUFI Pro 5.3: "Access violation at address 00000040. Read of address 00000040"

This is the error code I get when I try to open an existing WUFI Pro file: "Access violation at address 006351AD in module "WUFI.exe'. Read of address 00000004"

If I click "OK" on the second error code shown above, I get this message: "Access violation at address 0051EEFA in module 'WUFI.exe'. Read of address 0000000C"

I am on a very tight deadline, so I'm hoping to resolve this as quickly as possbile. Please help. Thank you very much.
