We made a low tech, low cost hot box as a thermal and moisture environment tester for evaluating the material performance of a building facade.
We want to simulate the inside moisture condition of the small box which has 50cm (width) x 50cm (depth) x 50cm (height).
The 5 surfaces of the box has same material(insulation wall), but one wall surface of the box need to have a concrete material.
q1) Can I can the material property for a surface?
Also, outside temperature and humidity condition need to be consistent.
q2) Can I control the outdoor temp and humidity condition in the simulation setting part?

Re: inside moisture simulation for small box using WUFI
Dear imeil,
your box should be calculate able with WUFI Plus.
1) different material properties for each surface is not a problem
2) you cannot control the outdoor temp and humidity depending on simulation outputs, but you can pre define outdoor conditions
Please note, that WUFI Plus is thought to be used for typical room sizes. Smaller volumes may cause convergence problems.
