Is it possible to zoom in Wufi graph 2D to select area for graphing

Post by Peter Mayer »

Is it possible to zoom into the Wufi graph image of an assembly in order to select cell(s) for graphing?

After generating a model I try to select a cell for an intricate model using Output > WufiGraph > New page > Relatvive humidity > select area (by mouse left click). I want to zoom into the red rectangle in the image below.

However the model includes some “thin” layers, 5mm thick which are obscured by the grid in Wufi graph.
Whereas in other function in the Wufi 2D application I can conveniently zoom into the detail, for example setting up the geometry.

The irony, just after posting the question discovered the answer by accident. You need to hold down the shift key, left click and drag the mouse to zoom into the graph.

Leaving the question in case others may have the same issue. And also to highlight the slight trickiness of working in Wufigraph compared with say the Geometry tab:

1) To zoom with Wufigraph you seem to need hold down the shift key and start at the top left hand corner of the zoom rectangle and finish in the bottom left corner or from top right to bottom left. You can zoom in stages.

2) Trying to zoom from bottom left or right corners to top right or left corners respectively results in resetting the image. It does not seem as if you can 'shrink' the magnification.

3) It is a shame that WufiGraph does not zoom in the same way as say the Geometry tab; by use of the mouse wheel: this gives much more control, allows magnification and shrinking of the image and would mean that the operation of WufiGraph would be consistent with the rest of the application.

4) The pan option works for WufiGraph in the same way as for Geometry tab: holding down mouse right button.

What's more the zoomed image clearly distinguishes materials by colours - so manageable for now.

Dear Peter,
happy to hear, that you found the solution by yourself.
You would also have found it in the program help, which can be called in WUFI Graph using the F1-key anywhere.
The help also is available as pdf in German, English and French language in the WUFI program folder on your computer, usually here:

Code: Select all

c:\Program Files (x86)\WUFI\Tools\WUFIGraph\help\
Best regards
Christian
