Hi,
We want to use a BBS panel (Binderholz) and we don't know how to represent it with the Wufi Matérial Database.
This product can be composed of differents species of wood, moreover we don't know if the mu value of 70 is a dry value.
We don't know how to represent liquid transport, even with a mu value dependent of temperature (that we don't know)
Thanking you by advance for any help.
Greetings.

BBS panel
Dear Raymond,
we have no material data for such materials in the DB. The properties also depend strongly on the used binder.
Normally you either use a moisture variable diffusion resistance (accurate enough for smaller thicknesses without big temperature gradient in the board) or the dry diffusion resistance and the liquid transport for thicker material layers or insulations.
In most cases a variable diffusion resistance is caused by a overlay od diffusion and liquid transport.
I think in your case it is sufficient to use the first approach. Mabe it is a good idea to measure at least the diffusion resistance values for wet and dry cup for the bbs panel.
best regards
Daniel
