multiple hrv for multi-unit

Hi,
I'm modelling a 10 story apartment building and things are getting odd as I enter the ventilation numbers. I entered the whole building ventilation using the rooms ventilation tab (with 88 kitchens etc.), then said 88 HRV on relevant device tab to service this. All OK. When I say there are 88 supply and exhaust ducts, the numbers go bonkers. Like more heat leaking through those short, insulated lines than through the whole rest of the envelope, windows, air leakage, everything. Turning the rooms ventilation numbers down to just one unit helps, but not enough, and saying theres only one hrv has no impact at all. Putting the HRV outside the conditioned area on device tab makes the building basically perfect, even though that makes no sense in our climate (Nova Scotia, Canada).
Any advice on how I should be entering multiple HRV ventilation in WUFI?
Thanks!
