Heat storage in building components

Hi:
I want to estimate the heat stored in building components to see the difference between walls with influence and no influence of rainfall, in WUFI Plus.
A way I can think of is using the formula of change in energy content during a time interval (hourly in this case),something like ΔQ*Δt=ρ*A*Δx/2*cp*(Ti+1-Ti) for boundaries and ΔQ*Δt=ρ*A*Δx*cp*(Ti+1-Ti) for interior nodes. However this does not include the energy contained in the water and I wonder if can estimate this part using the results of water content.
Can you please tell if what I am thinking is correct or if there is a simpler way to get this information? I am particularly worried about a tedious calculation for results of a whole year.
Your help will be appreciated.
