Interior Walls in WUFI Plus

Hello Everyone, i am currently working with wufi for my master thesis and i have some questions, wich i could not find an answer to:

When creating a non visualized component, i can only set an orientation and an area [m²] but where does the program put the interior wall? Why cant i assign a starting point and a lenth? Because I am wondering, how can i create different rooms (Bathroom, living room, ...) is it all ZONE 1, or do i have to create different zones for different rooms?

NOTE: i read the user manual, but it just says "We will assign this value and this wall and done"

Hello elfaib,

The Zone model in WUFI Plus regard the net air volume in a Zone completly mixed. The Zone climate (Zone air temperture and humidity) is simulated 'in one point'. However it is a multizone model, if you want to investigate different zones (like bathroom, living room, e.g.) due to differnt internal loads, design conditions, or orientation, you can model them with different zones in the building model, and set for Interior walls the differnt zones on the interior and outer outer side. For each of the defined zone the indoor climate is simulated.

If you don't have to investigate separated zones, you can add interior walls like described, with an non-visualized component and the same zone (e.g. Zone 1) on the interior and outer side. One both sides the Zone 1 climate is regarded as boundary condition. The area of that component is the surface area (on one side).
