air layer and retrofits

Hello there,
I have a brick cavity wall, and for the modelling of the cavity I followed the advice on one other topic; the advice was to split the cavity in three smaller ones using the standard air layer material except the middle one where you should use the air layer without additional moisture capacity. My question is that if I want to retrofit this wall I am using the water content at the end of this simulation as the starting point in the new retrofitted wall. In this case would the water content in the various layers be correct so I can use them?
Regards,
Kostas
