I would like to create weather data for Dallas/Fort Worth in Texas.
The climate is not available in the WUFI Pro package.
I am planning to use TMY file and convert it for use in WUFI. However, I understand that the Typical Meteorological Year that is used for energy simulation is not the best for hygrothermal analysis of building assemblies.
I would like to know if anyone has had good dependable results using TMY data.
What other weather file formats are available that can be used for hygrothermal analysis? i.e. Meteonorm?
The other option (Last resort) is to create a moisture design reference year, but, there is no clear methodology on how to create or gather such data. Is there a source that anyone can point to for methodology?
