WUFI Graph Error: Could not initialize class

Hi!

I try to open WUFI Graph after a simulation and get the following error message: "Could not initialize class hdf.hdf5lib.HDF5Constants", see image below.

WUFI Graph was working fine last week on the same computer, so I do not know why it is not working now. I have tried to create a new file to see if I have unintentionally changed some parameters, but the same error shows up. I also tried to reintstall WUFI, but that did not work either.

I have figured out it may have something to do with Java, but cannot find out how to fix it since I do not have Java installed. A friend said I should install an old version of Java, however, I am unsure of which version I should use in this case - I thought WUFI Graph had java included in it.

Do you know what the issue might be? :D

Hi,
in the first step I would not play around with Java. WUFI normally includes the JAVA version which is used.
Please try to download the latest version of WUFI 2D, reinstall and see, if the issue still appears.

Hi!

Thank you for the reply!

I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but unfortunately it still does not work.
I do not have Java installed, nor have I touched any Java files at all.

I have downloaded the newest version from the website.
The version I am using is WUFI-2D 4.5 and WUFIgraph 2.25.2.

The error shows up when I try to open WUFI Graph after simulation.

Do you have any idea what the problem might be?
The error trace is the same every time:
"Could not initialize class hdf.hdf5lib.HDF5Constants"

Kind regards,
Kari

Hi,
in this case please send us the log files graph.log and wufi2d.log to support@wufi.com.
You can find them in the folder

Code: Select all

%appdata%\wufi\logs
(you can copy that in your file explorers address field).
