Rain penetration and air exchange rate in a horizontal section

Hello,

1) Would this be the correct way to model the moisture source and the air exchange rate when having a horizontal section? I have tried to apply the information of other forum-posts about where to put these sources regarding placement in a vertical section, however I am not sure if I have "translated" it correctly to my case.

2) For the ventilated wooden facade: Better to model the rainpenetration as a 1% on the outer part of the lightweight concrete layer, or on the inner part of the wood cladding facing the cavity (as I have drawn)?

Thank you,
Katinka

Hi Katinka,
the ventilation source should be set in the whole cavity. The rain source goes in the lightweight concrete, if there is no watertight layer on it. If it is, the rain source is not necessary.
