WUFI

Hallo,

I'm using WUFI 2D 3.2.1 and I have problems trying to export text results. I know how to export data from WUFI Graph, but I would like to create a profile of the wall.

I have found on this forum this suggestion (see below), but when I right-click on the image "extract->initial conditions" doesn't exist.

How can I export this matrix you are dealing with in this answer?

there is at the moment no easy posibility to generate a profile out of the 2d calculation.

But there is a kind of tricky way:
You can extract the data for all grid elements for one time step. Open WufiMotion and go to the time step and value window you need. Then rightclick -> extract -> initial conditions. You will get a data matrix with a mean value for every grid element in a text file.

Out of this file you can try to find the right row or column and plot it. The according distance values (for x or y) you can find in the file called input.dat

Dear Michela,

to export the initial conditions you have to open your results using the
result viewer "WUFI2DMotion". Therein you can right click the
"temperature-" "humidity-" or "water content-graph" to export the data.

The resulting text file contains 3 header lines (number of elements in
x- and y-direction (nx and ny) followed by the x- and y-grid) and a nx
by ny matrix.
