low density mineral wool

Post by olivir »

Hi everybody,

I did'nt find any low density mineral wood in databases (12 kg/m³), I used the 60 kg/m³ mineral wool from IBP.
Could I consider the simulation to be correct anyway ? Could I modify only the density without generating problems ?

Hohoho, Santa is coming...

Hi Olivir,
as the mineral wool does not have a high moisture storage capability, I think its no problem to change the density.
If you have a measured moisture storage function, you may adapt that proportionally to the change of the density.
