Dear All
what sort of Heat Transfer Coefficient would you assign to a surface that is seeing external climate without the solar gains as in the case of a concrete slab on the underside of pilotis?
I am including a picture to better understand the scenario
Cheers
Chris

Re: Pilotis-Heat Transfer Coefficient
Hi Chris,
I would assign indoor, because the radiation part is set that way that it includes the corresponding walls.
In the 8 W/m²K half is convective and half is radiative part.
Best regards,
Christian
