Hello,
I am modelling a building located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I noticed that the external surface of my exterior wall reached as high 88 degrees.
This result does not seem reasonable. Any suggestions why the wall is getting so hot in the model? I am not applying the longwave radiation balance.

High surface temperature
Hello,
without knowing your exact model it is hard to assess possible problems. Please check the provided weather file - and check the surface resistances as well as the absorption/emission coefficients.
In a combination with high absorption coefficients and high exterior surface resistances a temperature of 80 °C and higher is reasonable.
If you do not trust the results, please post your settings.
Good success,
Florian
