Hi
I am trying to model a hollow concrete block wall in Ireland using a weather file with rain data. The issue is that the simulation either stops after just 8 months period (out of 5 year simulation) or continues till the end but with zero Theta and residual values after same 8 months. However, if I use the same material properties to simulate solid concrete wall, it works just fine. Please suggest what can be done and where am I going wrong?
Thanks
Akshay

Hello Akshay,
there is a problem in WUFI 2D, if a material supersaturates. See also this thread:

There are two things you can try:
Set the URF to 0.2
Try to reduce the rain load.
Best regards,
Christian

Re: Hollow Concrete Block Modelling
Hello,
I need your help: I'm trying to model a hollow concrete wall in Wufi pro and Wufi Plus but in the catalogue I don't find the right material I must choose for hollow concrete blocks. for now, I have divided the wall in to several layers: concrete layer+air layer+concrete layer but I think this is not the right way. Some one can help me?
thank you
