Hi
I want to simulate a construction without any cladding, thus from the wind barrier. To do this I would like do disable rain in my exterior climate. The way I've tried it is to set the rain reduction factor = 0, and R1 and R2 driving rain coefficients both = 0.
My question is simply: Is this the way to disable rain loads?
Thanx a bunch =)

Hello krisba,
it is enough to set the rain reduction factor to zero.
With R1 and R2 the driving rain is calculated from the normal rain and with the reduction factor you define the amount of the driving rain which hits the wall.
The 0.7 for walls means, that 70% of the driving rain hit the wall and can be sucked in (depending on the surface material) while 30% are splashing away when the rain hits the wall...
