Isoclad and Isofoil Materials?

Post by holyspidoo »

Has anyone been able to reproduce the ISOCLAD and ISOFOIL products from http://www.isolofoam.com/ ?

Both are Expanded polystyrene insulation, but one has a laminated air barrier, and the other has a vapor barrier (for inside use).

Not quite sure how to enter those into WUFI...

For Isoclad, I figure the membrane is like Tyvek, so I added spun-bonded polyolefin membrane on the exterior side.

For ISOFOIL, I'm adding PE membrane on the inside of the Expanded poly.

I would recommend to use the EPS from the database and use a membrane additionally where you only would have to change the permeability value.

Unfortunately you can not change the material properties in the free version.
