I am modeling a new construction wall in the North Eastern part of the USA.

What brick material should I select to be most representative of current brick material characteristics in this region?

Hello pbarkin,

as all of the bricks are completely different in properties, the best way is to do the calculation with all of them and find out which value has an influence on your construction. Other way would be to find out the properties of the brick to use.
For walls exposed to rain usually the a-value decides about the functionality.
