ignore other factors when exploring the wanted one

Post by MjNJUer »

wufi plus and other tools in wufi series can simulate the hygrothermal performance of the building asemblies and show the results in graphic which i prefer too much.

as we know, the hygrothermal consider serveral influence factors,
such as the outside climate which consist of radiation ,wind, rain, rh and temp;
and the inside design condition and loads which include rh, temp, CO2;
and the interaction of the both domain,namely the ventilation and infliration.

so, here is my question,how to turn off the effect of radiation/wind/rain and co2, so i can focus on the relationship between the enclosure and rh&temp.

gernerally, i can creat a weather file just contain the ambient rh&temp. but there are still serveral blanks about the radiation process and co2 control in wufi plus for the user to fill.

so, i need some help to have a full picture about the topic.

there are no main switches to turn off such parameters, but, for example, there is one tab called "Numerics" in the building treenote, where you can de-activate rain load and the wind dependent heat transfer on extern surfaces.

solar radiation can be swiched off with the way you described (the user defined climate without radiation), or you might can define an optional climate on the external surface.

co2 is calculated but doesn't effects the component simulation, as long as you don't use it for mechanical ventilation control.
