hygrothermal
Re: PCM material ,also own hygrothermal properties, then what is the heat calculation algrothem
Hi MjNJUer,
the temperature-dependent enthalpy does not introduce a new thermal property, it is simply a refinement of the specific heat capacity.
Most materials use a constant specific heat capacity. In cases where a temperature-dependent heat capacity is needed, you can describe this by using a table with temperature-dependent enthalpies. The specific heat capacity at a given temperature is the simply the slope of the enthalpy curve at that temperature. No new term or additional treatment in the thermal transport equations is needed.
