Hello,
does anybody know the initial moisture content of cellulosic insulation?
We want to use "isofloc-LW"
http://isofloc.de/assets/Produkte/Zellu ... e-mail.pdf
on top of a topmost concrete ceiling.
Thanks!
Andreas

Re: Initial moisture content of cellulosic insulation?
Hello Andreas,
please see infotext of material:
The built-in moisture content of 4.5 kg/m³ given in this material data set is the moisture content quoted by the manufacturer for the packaged material as delivered.
Alternatively, the reference moisture content u80 (7.8 kg/m³) of the material may be used as typical built-in moisture content if it must be assumed that the material has taken up additional sorption moisture, for example due to having been exposed to outdoor conditions for prolonged time.
