I have modeled vertical fins onto the windows on the east and west facades of my building and they don't seem to have any effect on results. The fins are under the "Remaining elements" tree, type: Opaque, Inner side: outside air, Outer side: outside air.
Am I going about this the correct way?
Horizontal shading that I select from within the window parameters has an immediate effect on the results.
Thanks for any insight!

Make sure to use the actual version of WUFI Passive: 3.0.3 and activate in the "Building - Numerics" Tab "Include shading calculation" then the also shading of the remaining should be calculated.

The Building Numerics Tab is only available when the Scope is Set to WUFI Plus it is not available under Passive House Verificationmpazold wrote:Make sure to use the actual version of WUFI Passive: 3.0.3 and activate in the "Building - Numerics" Tab "Include shading calculation" then the also shading of the remaining should be calculated.
Is there some other way of doing this in WUFI Passive

for monthly heat balance calculation, the passive house calculation, this dynamic shading implemented in Version 3.2.0 introduced with PHIUS 2018.
