Hello,
I have recently downloaded the WUFI Bio plugin but it does not seem to be intagrated with WUFI Pro when I open WUFI Pro.
There is no button for WUFI Bio in the Wufi Pro processor bar. I installed WUFI bio under the WUFI Pro folder.
Please let me know if there is a work around.
Cheers,
Mark

Re: WUFI - BIO Plugin Not Functioning in WUFI Pro
Hello Sebastian,
Thank you for helping out here. I have WUFI Pro - version 6. And I have Bio 3.3.
I have a segmented hard-drive as well. I am running wufi pro off of my D:\ harddrive.
I changed the regestry key to match, but was unable to get it functioning.
Also I noticed the thermal transmission plugin was also not functioning.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark,
though you should have installed WUFI and it's post processors to your d drive in the first place, you can try the following:
though you should have installed WUFI and it's post processors to your d drive in the first place, you can try the following:
- Close all WUFI instances
- Open the file C:\ProgramData\WUFI\wufi.ini
- Change the line under the WUFI6 section to your current post processor path, e.g.:
Code: Select all
PostProcessorPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\WUFI\WUFI6\..\PostProc\
Code: Select all
PostProcessorPath=D:\Your\Path\To\WUFI\PostProc\
- Save the file
- Check the results with WUFI

Re: WUFI - BIO Plugin Not Functioning in WUFI Pro
I have recently uninstalled WUFI6 Pro and reinstalled it, along with WUFI Bio.
It now seems to be working fine.
However, I did notice while installing the files that WUFI automatically installs some components of WUFI-Pro to the C:/ drive while other components I was able to specify their location. WUFI -Bio automatically installs on the C:/ drive without having the option to change hard-drives.
It seems to be working for me now, but I thought you should be aware of this.
Cheers,
Mark

Re: WUFI - BIO Plugin Not Functioning in WUFI Pro
Dear Mark,
thank you for your report, though we are aware of this behavior.
If you uninstalled WUFI-Bio it's previous installation location is still preserved by windows, which, in turn, is retrieved on a reinstallation. Hence, WUFI-Bio got installed on your c drive.
Furthermore, some features of WUFI are located in predefined locations that are accessible by all users but write protected for them. This seems to be the case of your discovery.
Best,
Sebastian
