Hi there,
Does the WUFI materials database have something that represents a Magnesium Oxide (sometimes referred to as Magnesia) board?
I have a colleague that hasn't been able to find it.
Regards,
Carl

Re: Magnesium Oxide board
I don't think there is a Magnesium Oxide Board in any catalogue,

Re: Magnesium Oxide board
Dear IBP,
Any news on MagOx boards? They are increasingly popular and seem to be vulnerable to moisture issues in their most usual application as render boards over a ventilated cavity in the humid UK.
Is there an existing material which could be considered similar enough for adapting?
Best regards,
Matt

Then please tell the manufacturer to get the product being measured and incorporated into the WUFI database. IBP, Germany, would be happy to make it happen.

Re: Magnesium Oxide board
Thanks Manfred. Considering the potential issues above, I doubt any of the manufacturers will be rushing to test.

Re: Magnesium Oxide board
I'm assuming there is still no additional information available for modeling magnesium oxide board in WUFI. True?
