Hi,
I would like to do hygrothermal analysis of sloped roof, which has photovoltaic panels on the roof.
I have two question:
1- Without considering the PV on roof, the results of codensation risk and total water content of construction will be significantlz changed?
2-If yes , how can I consider this panels on my construction at WUFI pro?
Thanks a lot
Samira

Re: Photovoltaic panel on the sloped Roof
Hi Samira,
the adaption of PV elements on a roof can have a significant influence on the hygrothermal behavior, depending on the kind of elements and the way of shading. If there will be a high airflow possible below the panels, that will have a negative influence.
As far as I know, there are no models for that at the moment. For the shading of flat roofs we there is a WTA-recommendation (6-8), which gives a list of factors for shading. Unfortunately it is not available in English. The PV model is coming from my paper discussed here:
