Hi all,
When selecting a hydrophobic material, such ROCKWOOL Klemmrock 035 (for example), it has liquid transport coefficients (suction and redistribution) of 0 and 0, respectively.
Does this mean that the moisture transport mechanism is effectively turned off as the material is capillary-inactive in WUFI? Or is an A-value determined and not shown?
Thanks
Darren

Re: Suction and Redistribution
Hi Darren,
if the liquid transport coefficients are zero this means that no liquid (that is, capillary) transport occurs in that material. The only remaining mechanism for moisture transport is vapour diffusion.
Kind regards,
Thomas
