Exporting results into excel

Could anyone please explain to me how to export the WUFI-pro5.1 data onto excel?

Hello Claire,

in Wufi go to the menu Outputs -> ASCII-Export, choose the wanted data and give a name, then press "Export to files"

In Excel use open, then choose "All files *.*" for the type. An import-menu will open. The following depends on the version of excel you use, but the exported file has the following properties:
Columns are separated by space, decimal seperator is "."

If you do it the right way, you get the files imported in excel.

İ am so new in WUFI 2D...i want to ask you about exporting my data to excel. I can do it successfully but the data are so long especially % relative humidity like this;
so what is the problem ? my simulation results are wrong or what ?
it is urgent because i have to make table these data...so please help me...

Hi,

apparently something went wrong with the data import into Excel. You should try different import settings. Maybe the data are separated by tab-stops, then open the file in Excel and when prompted tell Excell that the file is tab-stop delimited.

Maybe there is a header line in the file which confuses Excel; you might try deleting the header line.

Or maybe the data in your file use decimal commas as decimal separators, while (depending on your system settings) your Excel expects decimal points as decimal separators, or the other way round. In that case you can either use a text editor (such as Notepad) and replace the wrong decimal separators with the right ones, using the Search and Replace function. Or you may change the system settings on your computer, so that Excel expects the type of decimal separator which is used in the file.
