Surface Conditions - coating

Post by Sandberg »

Hello,

under surface conditions, sd-value, there are two options which include "(without driving rain)". What does this note mean?
The wall in my analysis is coated with several layers of paint (acrylic and oil based), so i am assuming a low permeability to vapour of sd-value=1.

Thank you.

Hi,

in my opinion this (without driving rain) should point out, that these values are only suitable for calculations without driving rain, what usually is not sufficient for calculations with stucco / render at the outside.

For a description of the sd-value in the boundary conditions please also see the WUFI help (press F1-key in the program) topic "Surface coatings".
