How do you measure the free water saturation?
Is is the amount of water absorbed by the material or is the density of the saturated material?
If it is the water absorbed, is it the quantity of water absorbed by a fully dried material? Do you have an European standard to follow?

Re: Free water saturation
Hi Valeria,
nice to hear from you
Free saturation means the amount of water whichs is absorbed by the material when you store it under water until mass consistancy (absolute amount - you substract only the dry density of the material). We measure the free saturation according to EN ISO 16535, method 2A, 2019-10
