Diffrent airchange in airgap doesnt effect air temperature

Post by Peter Brander »

I´m using sources and sinks to simulate different rates of airchange in a ventilated airgap inside an exterial wall. 5,10,25,50 and 100 changes per hour is used. When i calculate I see that the temperature profiles inside the airgap is identical regardless of ventilation rate. I expected the temperature difference between outside air and airgap air to be very ventilation dependent.

What have I missed?

Dear Peter,

there need not to be a fault. If the air change rate is high enough, the exterior climate conditions will be reproduced in the ventilated cavity. Look at the "Senaste Bräkning" where you can find the integral of all Heat and Moisture Sources.
