I am trying to model a typical UK lightweight metal wall (SFS) supporting a rail based brick slip system. I have modelled the rails as a continuous perforated metal sheet.
When I run the model, I am getting nearly 1500 convergence errors and my balances are far apart (4.68 and -158.39). I attach details of the wall make-up modelled and the results file for reference.
Can you suggest why I am experiencing the above issues and how I resolve them please?
Regards,
Richard

Re: Brick Slip System - Convergance/Balances
Dear Rickstein,
try to activate the adaptive time step control, use a finer grid and maybe replace the air layers without additional moisture capacity with the ones with the short name.
