Hi all,
I am working on a 10-story Mixed Use Building with a street level commercial/retail space and 81-studio dwelling units on the 9-floors above street level. There is a small basement below grade that will house the MEP services. My approach is to model the nine floors residential portion as one model and Street level commercial/retail + Basement as another.
For the residential portion , I am assigning foundation interface as none in the WUFI Passive model and assigning the floor assembly in the visual components section.
I have a few doubts on this approach-
1. There is a elevator on level 1 which will be used by the tenants as well. Does that need to be included in residential portion?
2. When calculating the Space conditioning targets of individual portions, is there a default assumption for occupancy of the commercial/retail space?
3. The MEP in basement will serve the entire house (most likely), but for ease of geometry and modeling, I am including it in the non-residential portion. Is that a correct approach?
Thanks,
Anushka
