Nonsensical WUFI 2D Results
Nonsensical WUFI 2D Results
Hi, I'm a new WUFI 2D user modeling a simple rain screen wall (the layers from exterior to interior: high-performance concrete board, air gap, mineral wool insulation, vapor-permeable air barrier, exterior sheathing, mineral wool insulation, interior gypsum wall board). I've been basing my model in part on a previous, similar model which worked just fine. In my model, however, the temperature of the interior gypsum wall board swings up and down in tandem with the exterior temperature (NY, NY), but just a few degrees warmer. In other words, the model is acting as if there is almost no insulation. I've tried hundreds of variations in materials, interior and exterior surface/weather conditions, but the results are always the same. Is anyone familiar with this kind of problem?

Hi, no, we are not familiar with this problem. Could you give some more information about the settings you used, especially for the transfer coefficients and boundary conditions?
