Water Vapour Diffusion Resistance Factor, Moisture-dependent

Post by shinya »

Hello,

What does "Moisture-dependent" of μ-value mean exactly?
Does "Relative humidity" means surround of the material ?
Or, inside of the material?

It means that the µ value depends on the moisture content. This is in the most cases physically not really correct, but helps to model some specific materials (e.g. wooden materials, polymere materials).

Both, because dead end pores in moisture storing material are very seldom.
